Nat. I dont know the airport very well. Only been there once since the new building opened.

where is a good spot for us chicks to gather before your arrival. Is there a cafe or something you can suggest. Is it upstairs or downstairs. How close is that inside/outside Cafe downstairs to that luggage carousel.

As we are arriving all within 30mins or so of each other we should work out we where could meet each other??

It's 11.35pm and I've just finished packing my scrap stuff........well "packing" is not a very good description of what I did!

More like pick up the bag I had at the Sydney 3AS retreat that I never unpacked, shove a few more thing in it and zip it up......I really have no idea what I've got!

One day i will be organized, it's a dream I have!..lol..

hey miss Nat...

believe it or not I am almost all packed... (scrapping wise), just got to print out some photos! Things are so so so busy for me mon-wed next week so I have been trying to get the house spotless this weekend and pack as much as I can.

but as I am packing and throwing in my trusty tools like my stapler, dymo labeller, treading water punch, I am thinking... what has Nat got we can borrow and what can we contribute so we don't all need to load our suitcases up with all the same stuff??? besides I plan on having a good splurge on new stuff, I need room in my bags to get it home, lol.

BTW, I am packing a whole heap of stuff (paper, alphas, chipboard, rub-ons, embellishments etc) that I have never used and no longer want... maybe we could all do that and anyone can help themselves to it??? Just a suggestion... anything we don't want to take home well, maybe Nat knows of somewhere it can be donated to???

Friday night home for tea with cocktails - lazy nibbly tea, anti pasto, dips, cheese, stuff like that and two options for Saturday night - if we all pitch in, Trev is super happy to do a pork roast on the webber (we will do veggies) or we can go out for Thai? If we stay home, cheaper, can keep scrapping, drinking, keep slippers on - we are not fussed either way.

The BIG scrap shop - owner is a fuckwit - is not open til 10am but my LSS will be open at 9 so if we go straight there for coffee that could work. My boss has a class at 10 but there will be plently of room for us to do caffine and chat!

sounds good to me. By the time I walk up from the Rex Terminal (building next door) after landing at 7.45am I should be able to meet you all at the Cafe on the ground floor at 8am. Its an inside/outside one. We could have breakfast there (expensive) or when Nat picks us up have breakfast at IKEA. Right next door to airport and very cheap. Hot and cold breaky choices. I will be starving as we dont have meals on my plane. by then it will be time to hit the shops, or whatever.

Well if Cat is the latest to arrive at 8am, maybe we could go to a cafe or something at the airport and wait for Nat to arrive and by then it may not be too early to go to the LSS. Just thinking out loud.... What did you have in mind Nat??

yippee. Yay Cat. Our weekend is coming up quick.

I have amended my flight time leaving Adelaide on Sunday. I was originally leaving the airport at 6.30pm.
As everyone is heading home mid arvo to catch connecting flights or to get home at a decent time on Sunday night, I changed my time back to 4.15pm.

We all could go to the airport together and sit at the bar until our flights come up. (just a thought)

And it would give Nat time to regain her 'normal' home again before school, family, work, etc etc on Monday.

My flight arrives in Adelaide at 8am on the friday and my flight home is at 3:05pm on the sunday...so pretty much the same as Ange and Sonia.

I like your idea too Ange of a stop for supplies, but would it maybe be a tad early?? lol I guess once we all got organised with baggage etc it probably wouldn't be..

Is there anyone else whos still a possibility of coming?? Mel, Clair, Amanda, Meredith??

Sorry i haven't been in here. No excuse really lol.

Just confirming that Sonia & I will arrive in Adelaide at 7.20am Friday and will depart Sunday at 3.0o pm. So is it just Cat & Tiff that we are meeting at the airport on Friday at this stage?? Should we do a trip to the SS after getting picked up?? That way we can get stuck into it as soon as we get back to Nat's. Oh, not forgetting a trip to get other necessary supplies ie: alcohol, snacks lol.

Well I still haven't booked flights LOL Got sidetracked at the scrap shop ;)

But I'm planning on getting the first flight to Adelaide on the fri around 8am and the last flight out on the sunday which is around 3pm

Fly in whenever the cheap flights are girls.

I only live 15mins from the airport so it's not a problem.

I am swapping cars with my SIL for that weekend cause she has a Tarago!!!

Start booking those flights girlies!!!

just wondering if u would like the girls who are flying in to come in about the same time of day and leave about the same time to save multiple trips to the airport.

depending on room in vehicles I will book my flight soon to come in about the same time of day as Ange, Donna and Sonia.

Let me know if that doesnt work out so I can arrange for a different time to fly. Limited in choices of what time to fly tho.

am also a fair bit nervous about driving Adelaide. If I am the only one from over here, I was wondering if there is a remote chance of anyone being near Gepps Cross that would need a lift to Nats.
I freak out with claustrophobia and driving town makes me into a sweating gibberish mess.

If there is no one I will just have to conquer my fear and drive slowly.
